And Solomon said: Blessed be the Lord the God of Israel, who spoke with his mouth to David my father, and with his own hands hath accomplished it, saying:


And David commanded all the assembly: Bless ye the Lord our God. And all the assembly blessed the Lord the God of their fathers. And they bowed themselves and worshipped God, and then the king.


And when Ezechias and his princes came in, they saw the heaps; and they blessed the Lord and the people of Israel.


Shall not Sion say: This man and that man is born in her? and the Highest himself hath founded her.


And when he passed before him, he said: O the Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, patient and of much compassion, and true,


Thy dead men shall live, my slain shall rise again. Awake, and give praise, ye that dwell in the dust. For thy dew is the dew of the light: and the land of the giants thou shalt pull down into ruin.


And he prayed to the Lord, and said: I beseech thee, O Lord, is not this what I said, when I was yet in my own country? therefore I went before to flee into Tharsis: for I know that thou art a gracious and merciful God, patient, and of much compassion, and easy to forgive evil.


Who are born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.


Rejoicing in hope. Patient in tribulation. Instant in prayer.


Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing; that you may abound in hope, and in the power of the Holy Ghost.


Who was delivered up for our sins, and rose again for our justification.


For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son; much more, being reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.


And if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead, dwell in you; he that raised up Jesus Christ from the dead, shall quicken also your mortal bodies, because of his Spirit that dwelleth in you.


For we are saved by hope. But hope that is seen, is not hope. For what a man seeth, why doth he hope for?


And now there remain faith, hope, and charity, these three: but the greatest of these is charity.


But now Christ is risen from the dead, the firstfruits of them that sleep:


Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort.


And whosoever shall follow this rule, peace on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.


That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and of revelation, in the knowledge of him:


Blessed by the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with spiritual blessings in heavenly places, in Christ:


In whom we have redemption through his blood, the remission of sins, according to the riches of his grace,


But God, (who is rich in mercy,) for his exceeding charity wherewith he loved us,


Now to him who is able to do all things more abundantly than we desire or understand, according to the power that worketh in us;


If so ye continue in the faith, grounded and settled, and immoveable from the hope of the gospel which you have heard, which is preached in all the creation that is under heaven, whereof I Paul am made a minister.


To whom God would make known the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ, in you the hope of glory.


Being mindful of the work of your faith, and labour, and charity, and of the enduring of the hope of our Lord Jesus Christ before God and our Father:


For if we believe that Jesus died, and rose again; even so them who have slept through Jesus, will God bring with him.


Exhort your hearts, and confirm you in every good work and word.


Now the grace of our Lord hath abounded exceedingly with faith and love, which is in Christ Jesus.


Looking for the blessed hope and coming of the glory of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ,


But Christ as the Son in his own house: which house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and glory of hope unto the end.


For of his own will hath he begotten us by the word of truth, that we might be some beginning of his creatures.


Wherefore having the loins of your mind girt up, being sober, trust perfectly in the grace which is offered you in the revelation of Jesus Christ,


Who through him are faithful in God, who raised him up from the dead, and hath given him glory, that your faith and hope might be in God.


Being born again not of corruptible seed, but incorruptible, by the word of God who liveth and remaineth for ever.


As newborn babes, desire the rational milk without guile, that thereby you may grow unto salvation:


But sanctify the Lord Christ in your hearts, being ready always to satisfy every one that asketh you a reason of that hope which is in you.


Whereunto baptism being of the like form, now saveth you also: not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the examination of a good conscience towards God by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.


For after this manner heretofore the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection to their own husbands:


If you know, that he is just, know ye, that every one also, who doth justice, is born of him.


And every one that hath this hope in him, sanctifieth himself, as he also is holy.


Whosoever is born of God, committeth not sin: for his seed abideth in him, and he can not sin, because he is born of God.


Dearly beloved, let us love one another, for charity is of God. And every one that loveth, is born of God, and knoweth God.


Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ, is born of God. And every one that loveth him who begot, loveth him also who is born of him.


We know that whosoever is born of God, sinneth not: but the generation of God preserveth him, and the wicked one toucheth him not.


For whatsoever is born of God, overcometh the world: and this is the victory which overcometh the world, our faith.
