‘I was sought by those who did not ask; I was found by those who did not seek me. I said, “Here I am, here I am,” to a nation that did not call on   my name.


All things have been entrusted to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son desires   to reveal him.


Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendour.


At that time  he  rejoiced in the Holy  Spirit  and said, ‘I praise   you, Father,   Lord of heaven and earth,   because you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent   and revealed them to infants.   Yes, Father, because this was your good pleasure.   ,


The wind blows where it pleases, and you hear its sound, but you don’t know where it comes from or where it is going.   So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.’


For though her sons had not been born yet or done anything good or bad, so that God’s purpose according to election might stand   –


I went up according to a revelation  and presented to them the gospel I preach among the Gentiles, but did so privately to those recognised as leaders. I wanted to be sure I was not running, and had not been running, in vain.


For you are saved by grace  through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift #– #


For it is God who is working in you both to will and to work according to his good purpose.


By his own choice, he gave us birth by the word of truth so that we would be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
