‘And I say to you, anyone who acknowledges   me before others, the Son of Man   will also acknowledge him before the angels of God,


His parents said these things because they were afraid of the Jews, since the Jews had already agreed that if anyone confessed him as the Messiah,  he would be banned from the synagogue.


They said, ‘Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved #– #you and your household.’


God raised him up, ending the pains of death,  because it was not possible for him to be held by death.


‘God has raised  this Jesus; we are all witnesses of this.


As they were travelling down the road, they came to some water. The eunuch said, ‘Look, there’s water. What would keep me from being baptised? ’


One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation.


For it is written, As I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow to me, and every tongue will give praise to God.   ,


Christ died and returned to life  for this: that he might be Lord over both the dead and the living.


but also for us. It will be credited to us who believe in him  who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.


Who is the one who condemns?  Christ Jesus is the one who died,  but even more, has been raised;  he also is at the right hand of God  and intercedes for us.


Therefore I want you to know that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says, ‘Jesus is cursed,’ and no one can say, ‘Jesus is Lord’, except by the Holy Spirit.


and every tongue  will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory  of God the Father.


Through him you believe in God,  who raised him from the dead  and gave him glory,  so that your faith and hope are in God.


Whoever confesses  that Jesus is the Son of God #– #God remains in him and he in God.


Many deceivers have gone out into the world; they do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh.  This is the deceiver and the antichrist.
