The men were seized by great fear of the Lord,  and they offered a sacrifice to the Lord and made vows.


The sailors were afraid, and each cried out to his god.  They threw the ship’s cargo into the sea to lighten the load.  Meanwhile, Jonah had gone down to the lowest part of the vessel and had stretched out and fallen into a deep sleep.


‘ “Because no one hired us,” they said to him. ‘ “You also go into my vineyard,” he told them.


But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah,  the Son  of God,  , and that by believing you may have life in his name.


‘Who is he, Sir,  that I may believe in him? ’ he asked.


and asked them, ‘Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed? ’ ‘No,’ they told him, ‘we haven’t even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.’


‘How can I,’ he said, ‘unless someone guides me? ’ So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.


Through him we have received grace and apostleship  to bring about  the obedience  of faith for the sake of his name among all the Gentiles,  ,


He came and proclaimed the good news  of peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near.


assuming you heard about him and were taught by him, as the truth  is in Jesus,


And it is not across the sea so that you have to ask, “Who will cross the sea, get it for us, and proclaim it to us so that we may follow it? ”


But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that I might fully preach the word and all the Gentiles might hear it. So I was rescued from the lion’s mouth.


In his own time he has revealed  his word  in the preaching with which I was entrusted  by the command  of God our Saviour:


Now without faith it is impossible to please God, since the one who draws near to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.


The prayer of faith will save the ill person, and the Lord will raise him up; if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
