So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who were going to marry his daughters. ‘Get up,’ he said. ‘Get out of this place, for the Lord is about to destroy the city! ’  But his sons-in-law thought he was joking.


Leave Babylon, flee from the Chaldeans! Declare with a shout of joy, proclaim this, let it go out to the end of the earth; announce, ‘The Lord has redeemed his servant   Jacob! ’


Leave, leave, go out from there! Do not touch anything unclean; go out from her, purify yourselves, you who carry the vessels of the  Lord.


Escape from Babylon; depart from the Chaldeans’ land. Be like the rams that lead the flock.


Come out from among her, my people! Save your lives, each of you, from the Lord’s burning anger.


You who have escaped the sword, go and do not stand still! Remember the  Lord from far away, and let Jerusalem come to your mind.


Leave Babylon; save your lives, each of you! Don’t perish because of her guilt. For this is the time of the  Lord’s vengeance – he will pay her what she deserves.


We tried to heal Babylon, but she could not be healed. Abandon her! Let each of us go to his own land, for her judgement extends to the sky and reaches as far as the clouds.


and you say, “If we had lived in the days of our ancestors, we wouldn’t have taken part with them in shedding the prophets’ blood.”


Therefore, come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord; do not touch any unclean thing, and I will welcome you.   ,


Don’t be too quick to appoint  , anyone as an elder, and don’t share in the sins of others. Keep yourself pure.
