You divided the sea before them, and they crossed through it on dry ground. You hurled their pursuers into the depths like a stone into raging water.


He will fly away like a dream and never be found; he will be chased away like a vision in the night.


The floods covered them; they sank to the depths like a stone.


I will make you an object of horror, and you will no longer exist.  You will be sought but will never be found again.’ This is the declaration of the Lord God.


He will turn his attention back to the fortresses of his own land, but he will stumble, fall,  and be no more.


Then I saw another mighty angel  coming down from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, with a rainbow  over his head.  His face was like the sun, his legs  were like pillars of fire,


but he could not prevail,  and there was no place for them in heaven any longer.


Every island fled, and the mountains disappeared.


They will stand far off in fear of her torment,  saying, Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the mighty city! For in a single hour your judgement has come.


The sound of harpists, musicians, flutists, and trumpeters will never be heard in you again; no craftsman of any trade will ever be found in you again; the sound of a mill will never be heard in you again;


Then I saw a great white throne and one seated on it. Earth and heaven fled from his presence, and no place was found for them.


I also saw a mighty angel  proclaiming with a loud voice, ‘Who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals? ’
