Psalm 90:1

A man of God  came, however, from Judah to Bethel by the word of the Lord while Jeroboam was standing beside the altar to burn incense.


He will be a sanctuary; but for the two houses of Israel, he will be a stone  to stumble over and a rock to trip over, and a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.


‘Therefore say, “This is what the Lord God says: Though I sent them far away among the nations and scattered them among the countries, yet for a little while I have been a sanctuary for them  in the countries where they have gone.”


Are you not from eternity, Lord  my God? My Holy One,  you   will not die. Lord, you appointed them to execute judgement; my Rock,  you destined them to punish us.


The one who eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him.


This is the blessing that Moses, the man of God, gave the Israelites before his death.


The God of old is your dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He drives out the enemy before you and commands, ‘Destroy! ’


But you, man of God, flee from these things, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love,  endurance,  and gentleness.


And we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
