Wisdom is found on the lips of the discerning, but a rod is for the back of the one who lacks sense.


The lips of the righteous feed many, but fools die for lack of sense.


Whoever shows contempt for his neighbour lacks sense, but a person with understanding keeps silent.


The one who works his land will have plenty of food, but whoever chases fantasies lacks sense.


listening closely  to wisdom and directing your heart to understanding;


I went by the field of a slacker and by the vineyard of one lacking sense.


He will get a beating  and dishonour, and his disgrace will never be removed.


I saw among the inexperienced, I noticed among the youths, a young man lacking sense.


but the one who misses me  harms himself; all who hate me love death.’


‘Whoever is inexperienced, enter here! ’ To the one who lacks sense,  she says,


Hear this, you foolish and senseless   people. They have eyes, but they don’t see. They have ears, but they don’t hear.


They are well-fed,  eager   stallions, each neighing  after someone else’s wife.


Throw off all the transgressions you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit.  Why should you die, house of Israel?


I will destroy you, Israel; you have no help but me.  ,


Marriage is to be honoured by all and the marriage bed kept undefiled, because God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.
