Their anger is cursed, for it is strong, and their fury, for it is cruel! I will disperse them throughout Jacob and scatter them throughout Israel.


Hatred stirs up conflicts, but love covers all offences.


A quick-tempered person acts foolishly, and one who schemes is hated.


A hot-tempered person stirs up conflict, but one slow to anger  calms strife.


One who loves to offend loves strife; one who builds a high threshold invites injury.


Don’t make friends with an angry person, and don’t be a companion of a hot-tempered one,


As charcoal for embers and wood for fire, so is a quarrelsome person for kindling strife.


Iron sharpens iron, and one person sharpens another.


A servant pampered from his youth will become arrogant  later on.


For the churning of milk produces butter, and twisting a nose draws blood, and stirring up anger produces strife.


For where there is envy and selfish ambition, there is disorder and every evil practice.
