The one who walks with the wise will become wise, but a companion of fools will suffer harm.


Where there are no oxen, the feeding trough is empty, but an abundant harvest comes through the strength of an ox.


Don’t love sleep, or you will become poor; open your eyes, and you’ll have enough to eat.


and your poverty will come like a robber, and your need, like a bandit.
