My son, don’t forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commands;


Guard your heart above all else, for it is the source of life.


he taught me and said, ‘Your heart must hold on to my words. Keep my commands and live.


Let whoever is wise  understand these things, and whoever is insightful recognise them. For the ways of the  Lord are right, and the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.


‘If anyone comes to me   and does not hate   his own father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters #– #yes, and even his own life #– #he cannot be my disciple.


and not just as we had hoped. Instead, they gave themselves first to the Lord and then to us by God’s will.


and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. I pray that you, being rooted and firmly established in love,


Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.


We also have the prophetic word strongly confirmed, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a lamp shining in a dark place,  until the day dawns  and the morning star  rises in your hearts.
