Then seat two wicked men  opposite him and get them to testify against him, saying, ‘You have cursed God and the king! ’  Then take him out and stone him to death.


The two wicked men came in and sat opposite him. Then the wicked men testified against Naboth in the presence of the people, saying, ‘Naboth has cursed God and the king! ’ So they took him outside the city and stoned him to death with stones.


how much less one who is revolting and corrupt, who drinks injustice  like water?


What man is like Job? He drinks derision  like water.


A discerning mind seeks knowledge, but the mouth of fools feeds on foolishness.


A worthless person digs up evil, and his speech is like a scorching fire.


If you stop listening to correction, my son, you will stray from the words of knowledge.


They feed on the sin  of my people; they have an appetite for their iniquity.
