The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life, but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.


A wise person’s instruction is a fountain of life, turning people away from the snares of death.


Insight is a fountain of life  for its possessor, but the discipline of fools is folly.


When a wicked person comes, contempt also comes, and along with dishonour, derision.


Counsel in a person’s heart is deep water; but a person of understanding draws it out.


Brood of vipers! How can you speak good things when you are evil? For the mouth speaks from the overflow   of the heart.


But whoever drinks from the water that I will give him will never get thirsty again.   In fact, the water I will give him will become a well   , of water springing up in him for eternal life.’


Let the word of Christ dwell richly among you, in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs,  singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.


Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt,  so that you may know how you should answer each person.
