let a wise person listen and increase learning, and let a discerning person obtain guidance –


An honest witness does not deceive, but a dishonest witness utters lies.


Stay away from a foolish person; you will gain no knowledge from his speech.


A mocker doesn’t love one who corrects him; he will not consult the wise.


Why does a fool have money in his hand with no intention of buying wisdom?


Wisdom is the focus of the perceptive, but a fool’s eyes  roam to the ends of the earth.


A fool does not delight in understanding, but only wants to show off his opinions.  ,


Wisdom is inaccessible to   a fool; he does not open his mouth at the city gate.


Do you see a person who is wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.


All the words from my mouth are righteous; none of them are deceptive or perverse.


All of them are clear to the perceptive, and right to those who discover knowledge.


Go to God’s instruction and testimony!  If they do not speak according to this word, there will be no dawn for them.


The wise will be put to shame; they will be dismayed and snared. They have rejected the word of the  Lord, so what wisdom do they really have?


If anyone thinks he knows anything, he does not yet know it as he ought to know it.


Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God #– #who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly #– #and it will be given to him.
