But the sight of the wicked  will fail. Their way of escape will be cut off, and their only hope is their last breath.


Such is the destiny  of all who forget God; the hope of the godless  will perish.


The desire of the righteous turns out well, but the hope of the wicked leads to wrath.


When the wicked person dies, his expectation comes to nothing, and hope placed in wealth  , vanishes.


The wicked one is thrown down by his own sin, but the righteous one has a refuge in his death.


An evil person is caught by sin, but the righteous one sings and rejoices.


Rejoice in hope;  be patient in affliction;  be persistent in prayer.


Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe,  so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.


We have also obtained access through him  by faith  into this grace in which we stand,  and we boast  in the hope of the glory of God.


May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who has loved  us and given us eternal encouragement and good hope by grace,
