Pharaoh removed his signet ring from his hand and put it on Joseph’s hand, clothed him with fine linen garments, and placed a gold chain round his neck.


They will be life for you  , and adornment  for your neck.


Never let loyalty and faithfulness leave you. Tie them round your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart.


She will place a garland of favour on your head; she will give you a crown of beauty.’


Your cheeks are beautiful with jewellery, your neck with its necklace.


You have captured my heart,  my sister,  my bride. You have captured my heart with one glance of your eyes, with one jewel of your necklace.

The king shouted to bring in the mediums, Chaldeans, and diviners. He said to these wise men of Babylon, ‘Whoever reads this inscription and gives me its interpretation will be clothed in purple, have a gold chain round his neck,  and have the third highest position in the kingdom.’
