So now, come on, let’s kill him and throw him into one of the pits.  We can say that a vicious animal ate him. Then we’ll see what becomes of his dreams! ’


It is useless to spread a net where any bird can see it,


The words of the wicked are a deadly ambush, but the speech of the upright rescues them.


For they can’t sleep unless they have done what is evil; they are robbed of sleep unless they make someone stumble.


arrogant eyes,  a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood,


a heart that plots wicked schemes, feet eager to run to evil,


Their feet run after evil, and they rush to shed innocent blood. Their thoughts are sinful thoughts; ruin and wretchedness are in their paths.


But if our unrighteousness highlights  God’s righteousness,  what are we to say?  I am using a human argument:  , Is God unrighteous to inflict wrath?


and Saul tried to pin David to the wall with the spear.  As the spear struck the wall, David eluded Saul, ran away, and escaped that night.
