7 Indeed, it is right  for me to think this way about all of you, because I have you in my heart,  and you are all partners with me in grace, both in my imprisonment  and in the defence  and confirmation of the gospel.

except that in every town the Holy Spirit warns me that chains and afflictions are waiting for me.


Then the commander approached, took him into custody, and ordered him to be bound with two chains.  He asked who he was and what he had done.


It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures  all things.


Now I do all this because of the gospel, so that I may share in the blessings.


You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone.


I don’t say this to condemn you, since I have already said that you are in our hearts, to die together and to live together.


For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision accomplishes anything; what matters is faith  working through love.


For this reason, I, Paul, the prisoner  of Christ Jesus on behalf of you Gentiles #– #


Therefore I, the prisoner in the Lord,  urge you to walk worthy of the calling you have received,


For this I am an ambassador  in chains. Pray that I might be bold enough to speak about it as I should.


Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually advanced the gospel,


so that it has become known throughout the whole imperial guard, and to everyone else, that my imprisonment is because I am in Christ.


Most of the brothers have gained confidence in the Lord from my imprisonment and dare even more to speak the word  , fearlessly.


because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day  until now.


But you know his proven character, because he has served with me in the gospel ministry like a son with a father.


Still, you did well by partnering with me in my hardship.


And you Philippians  know that in the early days of the gospel,  when I left Macedonia,  no church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving except you alone.


Yes, I also ask you, true partner,  to help these women who have contended for the gospel at my side, along with Clement and the rest of my co-workers whose names are in the book of life.


I, Paul, am writing this greeting with my own hand. Remember my chains.  Grace be with you.  ,


At the same time, pray also for us that God may open a door  to us for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ,  for which I am in chains,


For you are all children of light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or the darkness.


So don’t be ashamed  of the testimony about our Lord,  or of me his prisoner.  Instead, share in suffering for the gospel, relying on the power  of God.


for which I suffer to the point of being bound like a criminal. But the word of God is not bound.


I wanted to keep him with me, so that in my imprisonment for the gospel he might serve me in your place.


Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession.


Instead, rejoice as you share in the sufferings of Christ,  so that you may also rejoice with great joy when his glory is revealed.


I exhort the elders among you as a fellow elder and witness  to the sufferings of Christ, as well as one who shares in the glory about to be revealed:


I think it is right, as long as I am in this bodily tent,  to wake you up with a reminder,


We know that we have passed from death to life because we love our brothers and sisters. The one who does not love remains in death.
