‘Whoever strikes a person so that he dies must be put to death.


‘If a man kills anyone, he must be put to death.


‘If anyone strikes a person with an iron object and death results, he is a murderer; the murderer must be put to death.


You are not to accept a ransom for the life of someone who is guilty of murder; he must be put to death.


But if he won’t listen, take one or two others with you, so that by the testimony   of two or three witnesses every fact may be established.   ,


‘Our law doesn’t judge a man before it hears from him and knows what he’s doing, does it? ’


This is the third time I am coming to you.  Every matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.   ,
