So Moses collected the redemption amount from those in excess of the ones redeemed by the Levites.


He gave the redemption silver to Aaron and his sons in obedience to the Lord, just as the Lord commanded Moses.


just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve,   and to give his life as a ransom for many.’


He gave himself for us  to redeem us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for himself a people for his own possession,  eager to do good works.


he entered the most holy place once for all time, not by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption.


For you know that you were redeemed from your empty way of life  inherited from your ancestors, not with perishable things like silver or gold,


For Christ also suffered  for sins once for all,  the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring you to God.  He was put to death in the flesh  , but made alive by the Spirit,
