These are the names of the sons of Levi according to their family records; Gershon, Kohath, and Merari. Levi lived for 137 years.


The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel. Kohath lived for 133 years.


The sons of Izhar: Korah, Nepheg, and Zichri.


I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt to be your God; I am the Lord your God.’


‘Our father died in the wilderness, but he was not among Korah’s followers, who gathered together against the Lord.  Instead, he died because of his own sin, and he had no sons.


and what he did to Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab the Reubenite, when in the middle of the whole Israelite camp the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them, their households, their tents, and every living thing with them.


Woe to them! For they have gone the way of Cain,  have plunged into Balaam’s error  for profit, and have perished in Korah’s rebellion.
