Ornan said to David, ‘Take it! My lord the king may do whatever he wants.  See, I give the oxen for the burnt offerings, the threshing sledges for the wood, and the wheat for the grain offering #– #I give it all.’


the bread displayed before the Lord,  , the daily grain offering, the regular burnt offering, the Sabbath and New Moon offerings,  the appointed festivals, the holy things, the sin offerings to atone for Israel,  and for all the work of the house of our God.


Then the man said to me, ‘The northern and southern chambers that face the courtyard are the holy chambers where the priests who approach the Lord will eat  the most holy offerings.  There they will deposit the most holy offerings #– #the grain offerings, sin offerings, and guilt offerings #– #for the place is holy.


At the festivals and appointed times, the grain offering will be twenty-two litres with the bull, twenty-two litres with the ram, and whatever he wants to give with the lambs, along with four litres of oil for every twenty-two litres of grain.


They will offer the lamb, the grain offering, and the oil every morning as a regular burnt offering.


The grain offering will be twenty-two litres  with the ram,  and the grain offering with the lambs will be whatever he wants to give, as well as four litres  of oil for every twenty-two litres of grain.


He will provide a grain offering of twenty-two litres with the bull, twenty-two litres with the ram, and whatever he can afford with the lambs, together with four litres of oil for every twenty-two litres of grain.


Grain and drink offerings have been cut off from the house of the  Lord; the priests, who are ministers of the  Lord, mourn.


Who knows? He may turn and relent and leave a blessing behind him, so that you can offer a grain offering and a drink offering to the Lord your God.


‘On the eighth day he must take two unblemished  male lambs, an unblemished year-old ewe lamb, a grain offering of six litres  of fine flour mixed with olive oil, and one-third of a litre  of olive oil.


‘Now this is the law of the grain offering:  Aaron’s sons will present it before the Lord in front of the altar.


This is the law for the burnt offering, the grain offering, the sin offering, the guilt offering, the ordination offering,  and the fellowship sacrifice,


Also present two litres of wine as a drink offering. It is a food offering, a pleasing aroma to the Lord.


‘If you prepare a young bull as a burnt offering or as a sacrifice, to fulfil a vow, or as a fellowship offering to the Lord,


with six litres  of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering for each bull, four litres of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering for the ram,


Their drink offerings are to be two litres  of wine with each bull, 1.3 litres  with the ram, and one litre  with each male lamb. This is the monthly burnt offering for all the months of the year.


These are in addition to the monthly and regular burnt offerings with their prescribed grain offerings and drink offerings. They are a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the Lord.


When she had weaned him, she took him with her to Shiloh, as well as a three-year-old bull,  twenty-two litres  of flour, and a clay jar of wine.  Though the boy was still young,  she took him to the Lord’s house at Shiloh.
