and the Horites  in the mountains of Seir, as far as El-paran  by the wilderness.


He settled in the Wilderness of Paran, and his mother got a wife for him from the land of Egypt.


Hadad and his men set out from Midian and went to Paran.  They took men with them from Paran and went to Egypt, to Pharaoh king of Egypt,  who gave Hadad a house, ordered that he be given food, and gave him land.


They set out from Succoth and camped at Etham on the edge of the wilderness.


God comes from Teman, the Holy One from Mount Paran.  Selah His splendour covers the heavens, and the earth is full of his praise.


The Lord spoke to Moses in the tent of meeting  in the Wilderness of Sinai,  on the first day of the second month of the second year  after Israel’s departure from the land of Egypt:


They set out from the mountain of the Lord on a three-day journey with the ark of the Lord’s covenant travelling ahead of them for those three days to seek a resting place for them.


After that, the people set out from Hazeroth and camped in the Wilderness of Paran.


The men went back to Moses, Aaron, and the entire Israelite community in the Wilderness of Paran at Kadesh. They brought back a report for them and the whole community, and they showed them the fruit of the land.


Moses sent them from the Wilderness of Paran at the Lord’s command. All the men were leaders in Israel.


The Israelites did everything the Lord commanded Moses; they camped by their banners in this way and moved out the same way, each man by his clan and by his ancestral family.  ,


In the first month of the second year after their departure from the land of Egypt, the Lord told Moses in the Wilderness of Sinai,


Whenever the cloud was lifted up above the tent, the Israelites would set out; at the place where the cloud stopped, there the Israelites camped.


and they observed it in the first month on the fourteenth day at twilight in the Wilderness of Sinai. The Israelites did everything as the Lord had commanded Moses.


These are the words Moses spoke to all Israel across the Jordan in the wilderness,  in the Arabah  opposite Suph,  between Paran  and Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth,  and Di-zahab.


‘We then set out from Horeb and went across all the great and terrible wilderness you saw on the way to the hill country of the Amorites, just as the Lord our God had commanded us. When we reached Kadesh-barnea,


Resume your journey and go to the hill country of the Amorites  and their neighbours in the Arabah, the hill country, the Judean foothills,  the Negev  and the sea coast #– #to the land of the Canaanites and to Lebanon as far as the great river, the River Euphrates.


He said: The Lord came from Sinai and appeared to them from Seir; he shone on them from Mount Paran and came with ten thousand holy ones, with lightning  from his right hand  for them.


Samuel died,  and all Israel assembled to mourn for him,  and they buried him by his home in Ramah.  David then went down to the Wilderness of Paran.  ,
