Dishonest scales are detestable to the  Lord, but an accurate weight is his delight.


Honest balances and scales are the  Lord’s; all the weights in the bag are his concern.


Differing weights and varying measures   – both are detestable to the  Lord.


‘You are to have honest scales, an honest dry measure,  and an honest liquid measure.  ,


A merchant loves to extort with dishonest scales in his hands.


You are to have honest balances,  honest weights, an honest dry measure,  and an honest liquid measure;  , I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt.


asking, ‘When will the New Moon be over so that we may sell grain, and the Sabbath, so that we may market wheat? We can reduce the measure while increasing the price and cheat with dishonest scales.
