Look on every proud person and humble him; trample the wicked where they stand.


For the Lord’s power will rest on this mountain. But Moab  will be trampled in his place as straw is trampled in a dung pile.


For look, the Lord is coming from his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity. The earth will reveal the blood shed on it and will no longer conceal her slain.


The Spirit then lifted me up,  and I heard a loud rumbling sound behind me #– #bless the glory of the Lord in his place! #– #


He is here: the one who forms the mountains, creates the wind, and reveals his thoughts to man, the one who makes the dawn out of darkness and strides on the heights of the earth. The Lord, the God of Armies, is his name.


The Lord, the God of Armies – he touches the earth; it melts, and all who dwell in it mourn; all of it rises like the Nile and subsides like the Nile of Egypt.


The Lord my Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like those of a deer and enables me to walk on mountain heights! For the choir director: on  stringed instruments.


On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,  which faces Jerusalem on the east. The Mount of Olives will be split in half from east to west, forming a huge valley, so that half the mountain will move to the north and half to the south.


He made him ride on the heights of the land and eat the produce of the field. He nourished him with honey from the rock and oil from flinty rock,


How happy you are, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the  Lord? He is the shield that protects you, the sword you boast in. Your enemies will cringe before you, and you will tread on their backs.  ,
