For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.’


Jesus responded, ‘Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah,   , because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but my Father in heaven.


‘See to it that you don’t despise one of these little ones,   because I tell you that in heaven their angels   continually view the face of my Father in heaven.   ,


Again, truly I tell you, if two of you on earth agree about any matter that you   pray for, it will be done for you   by my Father in heaven.


‘Truly I tell you,’ he said, ‘unless you turn and become like little children,   you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.


So also my heavenly Father will do to you unless every one of you forgives his brother or sister   from your heart.’


Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.’


‘When they had gone to buy some, the groom arrived, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet, and the door was shut.


‘His master said to him, “Well done, good and faithful servant! You were faithful over a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Share your master’s joy.”


Going a little further,  he fell face down and prayed, ‘My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.’


Again, a second time, he went away and prayed, ‘My Father, if this   cannot pass   unless I drink it, your will be done.’


Whoever does the will of God   is my brother and sister and mother.’


And if your eye causes you to fall away, gouge it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God   with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown   into hell,


He said, ‘Rather, blessed are those who hear the word of God   and keep it.’


once the homeowner gets up and shuts the door.   Then you will stand outside and knock on the door, saying, “Lord, open up for us! ” He will answer you, “I don’t know you or where you’re from.”

The one who hates me also hates my Father.


Jesus answered, ‘Truly I tell you, unless someone is born   of water and the Spirit,   he cannot enter the kingdom of God.


Jesus responded to them, ‘My Father   is still working, and I am working also.’


For this is the will of my Father:   that everyone who sees the Son   and believes in him will have eternal life, and I will raise   him up on the last day.’


If anyone wants to do his will,   he will know whether the teaching is from God or whether I am speaking on my own.


strengthening the  disciples by encouraging them to continue in the faith  and by telling them, ‘It is necessary to go through many hardships  to enter the kingdom of God.’


Do not be conformed  to this age,  but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,  so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will  of God.


For the hearers of the law  are not righteous before God, but the doers of the law will be justified.


Don’t work only while being watched, as people-pleasers, but as slaves of Christ, doing God’s will  from your heart.


Epaphras,  who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, sends you greetings. He is always wrestling  for you in his prayers, so that you can stand mature and fully assured  in everything God wills.


For this is God’s will,  your sanctification:  that you keep away  from sexual immorality,


give thanks in everything; for this is God’s will  for you in Christ Jesus.


They claim to know God,  but they deny him by their works.  They are detestable, disobedient, and unfit for any good work.


equip  you with everything good to do his will, working in us what is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever.  , Amen.


Therefore, since it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly received the good news did not enter because of disobedience,


But  be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.


For it is God’s will  that you silence the ignorance  of foolish people by doing good.


in order to live the remaining time in the flesh no longer for human desires, but for God’s will.


and he will rule   , them with an iron sceptre; he will shatter them like pottery   , –


‘Blessed   are those who wash their robes,   so that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter the city by the gates.


‘In the same way, the one who conquers   will be dressed in white clothes,   and I will never erase his name from the book of life   but will acknowledge his name before my Father and before his angels.
