Don’t take a matter to court hastily. Otherwise, what will you do afterwards if your opponent  humiliates you?


Peter was following him at a distance right to the high priest’s courtyard. He went in and was sitting with the servants to see the outcome.


And a widow   in that town kept coming to him, saying, “Give me justice against my adversary.”


For he says: At an acceptable time I listened to you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.   , See, now is the acceptable time; now is the day of salvation!


For you know that later, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, even though he sought it with tears, because he didn’t find any opportunity for repentance.


But encourage each other daily,  while it is still called today, so that none of you is hardened  by sin’s deception.


Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: Today, if you hear his voice,
