So he threw the silver into the temple  and departed. Then he went and hanged himself.


They conferred together and bought the potter’s field with it as a burial place for foreigners.


But you say, “If anyone tells his father or mother: Whatever benefit   you might have received from me is corban” ’ (that is, an offering  devoted to God),


Then  they led Jesus from Caiaphas to the governor’s headquarters.  It was early morning. They did not enter the headquarters themselves; otherwise they would be defiled and unable to eat the Passover.


Do not bring a female prostitute’s wages or a male prostitute’s  earnings into the house of the Lord your God to fulfil any vow, because both are detestable to the Lord your God.
