saying, ‘Where is he who has been born king of the Jews?  For we saw his star at its rising  and have come to worship him.’


Above his head they put up the charge against him in writing: This Is Jesus, the King of the Jews.


and saying, ‘You who would destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save yourself! If you are the Son of God, come down from the cross! ’


In the same way the chief priests, with the scribes and elders,  mocked him and said,


In the same way, the chief priests with the scribes  were mocking him among themselves and saying, ‘He saved others, but he cannot save himself!


Let the Messiah,  the King  of Israel,  come down now from the cross,  so that we may see and believe.’  Even those who were crucified with him taunted him.


Blessed is the King   who comes in the name of the Lord.   , Peace in heaven and glory  in the highest heaven!


The  people stood watching, and even the leaders were scoffing:  ‘He saved others; let him save himself if this is God’s Messiah, the Chosen One! ’


and said, ‘If you are the king of the Jews,  save yourself! ’


‘Rabbi,’  Nathanael replied, ‘You are the Son  of God; you are the King of Israel! ’


they took palm branches  and went out to meet him. They kept shouting: ‘Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord   ,  #– #the King of Israel! ’


If anyone hears my words and doesn’t keep   them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world   but to save the world.


So a second time they summoned the man who had been blind and told him, ‘Give glory  to God.  We know that this man is a sinner.’


And since they saw the man who had been healed standing with them, they had nothing to say in opposition.
