Then seat two wicked men  opposite him and get them to testify against him, saying, ‘You have cursed God and the king! ’  Then take him out and stone him to death.


The two wicked men came in and sat opposite him. Then the wicked men testified against Naboth in the presence of the people, saying, ‘Naboth has cursed God and the king! ’ So they took him outside the city and stoned him to death with stones.


He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth. Like a lamb led to the slaughter and like a sheep silent before her shearers, he did not open his mouth.


Then the Lord told Moses, ‘The man is to be put to death. The entire community is to stone him outside the camp.’


They will hand him over to the Gentiles   to be mocked, flogged,   and crucified, and on the third day he will be raised.’


So they seized him, threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him.


‘You know   that the Passover takes place after two days, and the Son of Man will be handed over to be crucified.’


After they had mocked  him, they stripped him of the purple robe and put his clothes on him. They led him out to crucify him.


Then he handed him over to be crucified. Then they took Jesus away.


Then he said to the disciple, ‘Here is your mother.’ And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.


They dragged him out of the city and began to stone  him. And the witnesses laid their garments at the feet of a young man named Saul.


Therefore, Jesus also suffered outside the gate,  so that he might sanctify  the people by his own blood.
