Then their father Israel said to them, ‘If it must be so, then do this: put some of the best products of the land in your packs and take them down to the man as a gift #– #a little balsam and a little honey, aromatic gum and resin, pistachios and almonds.


Then she gave the king four tonnes  of gold,  a great quantity of spices, and precious stones. Never again did such a quantity of spices arrive as those the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon.


She came to Jerusalem with a very large entourage, with camels bearing  spices, gold in great abundance, and precious stones.  She came to Solomon and spoke to him about everything that was on her mind.


‘Take for yourself the finest spices:  six kilograms  of liquid myrrh, half as much (three kilograms  ) of fragrant cinnamon, three kilograms of fragrant cane,


The Lord said to Moses, ‘Take fragrant spices: stacte, onycha, and galbanum; the spices and pure frankincense are to be in equal measures.


Who is this  coming up from the wilderness like columns of smoke, scented with myrrh and frankincense from every fragrant powder of the merchant?


Caravans of camels will cover your land   – young camels of Midian and Ephah – all of them will come from Sheba. They will carry gold and frankincense and proclaim the praises of the  Lord.


The priest is to remove a handful of fine flour and olive oil from the grain offering, with all the frankincense that is on the offering, and burn its memorial portion on the altar as a pleasing aroma to the Lord.


‘My name will be great among the nations,  from the rising of the sun to its setting. Incense  and pure offerings will be presented in my name in every place because my name will be great among the nations,’  says the Lord of Armies.

The twelve gold bowls full of incense each weighed 115 grams measured by the standard sanctuary shekel. The total weight of the gold bowls was 1.4 kilograms.


The birth of Jesus Christ came about in this way: After his mother Mary had been engaged  to Joseph, it was discovered before they came together that she was pregnant from the Holy Spirit.


While he  was still speaking with the crowds, his mother and brothers were standing outside wanting to speak to him.


Then those in the boat worshipped him and said, ‘Truly you are the Son of God.’


When they saw the star, they were overwhelmed with joy.


saying, ‘Where is he who has been born king of the Jews?  For we saw his star at its rising  and have come to worship him.’


They hurried off and found both Mary and Joseph, and the baby who was lying in the manger.


At that very moment,  she came up and began to thank God and to speak about him to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem.  ,


Nicodemus  (who had previously come to him at night) also came, bringing a mixture of about forty kilograms  of myrrh and aloes.


Then I fell at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, ‘Don’t do that!  I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers and sisters who hold firmly to the testimony of Jesus.  Worship God, because the testimony of Jesus is the spirit  of prophecy.’


When he took the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp  and golden bowls  filled with incense,  which are the prayers of the saints.


But some wicked men said, ‘How can this man save us? ’ They despised him and did not bring him a gift,  but Saul said nothing.  ,
