Then the Lord God said, ‘It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper corresponding  to him.’


A man who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour from the  Lord.


Better to live in a wilderness than with a nagging and hot-tempered wife.


Better to live on the corner of a roof than to share a house with a nagging wife.


He responded, ‘Not everyone can accept this saying, but only those to whom it has been given.


I tell you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another commits adultery.’   ,


I say to the unmarried  and to widows:  It is good for them if they remain as I am.


They forbid marriage  and demand abstinence  from foods that God created  to be received with gratitude by those who believe and know the truth.
