and when they didn’t find his body, they came and reported that they had seen a vision of angels who said he was alive.


But they were startled and terrified  and thought they were seeing a ghost.


Then he opened their minds  to understand  the Scriptures.


So the women were terrified and bowed down to the ground. ‘Why are you looking for the living among the dead? ’ asked the men.


‘You’re out of your mind! ’ they told her. But she kept insisting that it was true, and they said, ‘It’s his angel.’


When I saw him, I fell at his feet like a dead man.  He laid his right hand on me and said, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am the First and the Last,
