Her ways are pleasant, and all her paths, peaceful.


Mankind, he has told each of you what is good and what it is the  Lord requires of you: to act justly, to love faithfulness, and to walk humbly with your God.


At that time Jesus passed through the cornfields on the Sabbath.  His disciples  were hungry and began to pick and eat some ears of corn.


I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. You will have suffering in this world. Be courageous! I have conquered the world.’


Now then, why are you testing God by putting a yoke on the disciples’ necks  that neither our ancestors nor we have been able to bear?


For it was the Holy Spirit’s decision #– #and ours #– #not to place further burdens on you beyond these requirements:


For our momentary light affliction  is producing for us an absolutely incomparable eternal weight of glory.


For freedom, Christ set us free. Stand firm,  then, and don’t submit again to a yoke of slavery.


But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.


I am able to do all things through him  who strengthens me.


For this is what love for God is: to keep his commands. And his commands are not a burden,
