When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and the rivers will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, and the flame will not burn you.


Immediately Jesus spoke to them. ‘Have courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.’


Just then  some men  brought to him a paralytic lying on a stretcher. Seeing their faith, Jesus told the paralytic, ‘Have courage, son, your sins are forgiven.’


When they saw him walking on the sea, they thought it was a ghost  and cried out,
