When his family  heard this, they set out to restrain him, because they said, ‘He’s out of his mind.’


A crowd was sitting around him and told him, ‘Look, your mother, your brothers,  and your sisters  are outside asking for you.’


Looking at those sitting in a circle around him, he said, ‘Here are my mother and my brothers!


Isn’t this the carpenter,  the son of Mary,  and the brother of James,  Joses, Judas,  and Simon? And aren’t his sisters here with us? ’ So they were offended  by him.


‘Why were you searching for me? ’ he asked them. ‘Didn’t you know that it was necessary for me to be in my Father’s house? ’


‘What has this concern of yours to do with me,   , woman? ’   Jesus asked. ‘My hour has not yet come.’


From now on, then, we do not know anyone from a worldly perspective.  Even if we have known Christ from a worldly perspective,  yet now we no longer know him in this way.


He said about his father and mother, ‘I do not regard them.’ He disregarded his brothers and didn’t acknowledge his sons, for they kept your word and maintained your covenant.
