The blood on the houses where you are staying will be a distinguishing mark for you; when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No plague will be among you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.


The wounds of a friend are trustworthy, but the kisses of an enemy are excessive.


Get up; let’s go. See, my betrayer is near.’


While  he was still speaking, Judas,  one of the Twelve,  suddenly arrived. With him was a mob, with swords and clubs, from the chief priests, the scribes,  and the elders.


So when he came, immediately he went up to Jesus and said, ‘Rabbi! ’  and kissed him.


After they had severely flogged them, they threw them in jail, ordering the jailer to guard them carefully.


not being frightened in any way by your opponents.  This is a sign of destruction for them,  but of your salvation   #– #and this is from God.

Now please swear to me by the Lord that you will also show kindness to my father’s family, because I showed kindness to you.  Give me a sure sign
