Yet the Lord was pleased  to crush him severely.  , When  you make him a guilt offering, he will see his seed, he will prolong his days, and by his hand the Lord’s pleasure will be accomplished.


When  they entered the tomb,  they saw a young man  dressed  in a white  robe sitting on the right side; they were alarmed.


‘Don’t be alarmed,’ he told them. ‘You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth,  who was crucified. He has risen!  He is not here. See the place where they put him.


He did not let anyone accompany him except Peter,  James,  and John,  James’s brother.


When the whole crowd saw him, they were amazed and ran to greet him.


After  six days  Jesus took Peter, James, and John  and led them up a high mountain  by themselves to be alone. He was transfigured  in front of them,


Being in anguish,  he prayed more fervently, and his sweat became like drops of blood falling to the ground.


During his earthly life,  he offered prayers and appeals  with loud cries and tears  to the one who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence.
