They were discussing among themselves, ‘We didn’t bring any bread.’


Was John’s baptism   from heaven or of human origin? Answer me.’


But if we say, “Of human origin” ’ #– #they were afraid of the crowd, because everyone thought that John was truly a prophet.


(John testified concerning him and exclaimed, ‘This was the one of whom I said, “The one coming after me  ranks ahead of me,  because he existed before me.” ’)


The next day John saw Jesus coming towards him and said, ‘Look, the Lamb of God,  who takes away the sin  of the world!


I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God.’  ,


When he saw Jesus passing by, he said, ‘Look, the Lamb of God! ’
