The Lord’s curse is on the household of the wicked, but he blesses the home of the righteous;


Seeing a lone fig tree by the road, he went up to it and found nothing on it except leaves. And he said to it, ‘May no fruit ever come from you again! ’ At once the fig tree withered.


greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called “Rabbi” by people.


‘But you are not to be called “Rabbi,” because you have one Teacher,   and you are all brothers and sisters.


‘Then he will also say to those on the left, “Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels!


In the meantime the disciples kept urging him, ‘Rabbi,  eat something.’


If anyone does not love the Lord, a curse be on him. Our Lord, come!
