A pronouncement  concerning Egypt: Look, the Lord rides on a swift cloud and is coming to Egypt. Egypt’s worthless idols will tremble before him, and Egypt will lose heart.


I was left alone, looking at this great vision.  No strength was left in me; my face grew deathly pale,  , and I was powerless.


As the two men were departing from him, Peter said to Jesus, ‘Master,  it’s good for us to be here. Let’s set up three shelters: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah’ #– #not knowing what he was saying.


Then a voice came from the cloud,  saying, ‘This is my Son,  the Chosen One;  , listen to him! ’


When I saw him, I fell at his feet like a dead man.  He laid his right hand on me and said, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am the First and the Last,


‘We’re certainly going to die,’ he said to his wife, ‘because we have seen God! ’


When Gideon realised that he was the angel of the Lord, he said, ‘Oh no, Lord God!  I have seen the angel of the Lord face to face! ’
