Therefore I will give him  the many as a portion, and he will receive  the mighty as spoil, because he willingly submitted to death, and was counted among the rebels; yet he bore the sin of many and interceded for the rebels.


Then the news about him spread throughout Syria.  So they brought to him all those who were afflicted, those suffering from various diseases and intense pains, the demon-possessed, the epileptics, and the paralytics.  And he healed them.


They came to Jesus and saw the man who had been demon-possessed,  , sitting there, dressed and in his right mind;  and they were afraid.


She had a sister named Mary, who also sat at the Lord’s  feet  and was listening to what he said.


When he came to his senses,   he said, “How many of my father’s hired workers have more than enough food, and here I am dying of hunger!


After three days, they found him in the temple sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions.


When he got out on land, a demon-possessed man from the town met him. For a long time he had worn no clothes and did not stay in a house but in the tombs.


When the men who tended them saw what had happened, they ran off and reported it in the town and in the countryside.


He  continued, ‘I am a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia but brought up in this city, educated at the feet of Gamaliel  according to the strictness of our ancestral law. I was zealous for God, just as all of you are today.


The one who commits  sin is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God  was revealed  for this purpose: to destroy the devil’s works.
