Abraham named his son who was born to him #– #the one Sarah bore to him #– #Isaac.


After this, his brother came out grasping Esau’s heel with his hand.  So he was named Jacob.  , Isaac was sixty years old when they were born.


Abraham  fathered Isaac. Isaac’s sons: Esau and Israel.


Abraham fathered  Isaac, Isaac fathered Jacob, Jacob fathered Judah and his brothers,


son of Amminadab, son of Ram,  son of Hezron, son of Perez,  son of Judah,


son of Serug, son of Reu, son of Peleg, son of Eber, son of Shelah,


And so he gave Abraham the covenant of circumcision. After this, he fathered Isaac and circumcised  him on the eighth day. Isaac became the father of Jacob, and Jacob became the father of the twelve patriarchs.
