‘If someone sins and without knowing it violates any of the Lord’s commands concerning anything prohibited, he is guilty, and he will bear his iniquity.


‘If one person sins unintentionally,  he is to present a year-old female goat as a sin offering.


For whoever has, more will be given to him, and he will have more than enough; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.


‘Lord,’ Peter asked, ‘are you telling this parable to us or to everyone? ’


‘I came   to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already set ablaze!


So he called the manager in and asked, “What is this I hear about you? Give an account of your management,   because you can no longer be my manager.”


If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin.   Now they have no excuse for their sin.

Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you,  avoiding  irreverent and empty speech and contradictions from what is falsely called knowledge.


In his own time he has revealed  his word  in the preaching with which I was entrusted  by the command  of God our Saviour:


Not many should become teachers, my brothers,  because you know that we will receive a stricter judgement.
