There is one who speaks rashly, like a piercing sword; but the tongue of the wise brings healing.


‘Is not my word like fire’ #– #this is the Lord’s declaration #– #‘and like a hammer that pulverises rock?


The servants answered, ‘No man ever spoke like this! ’  ,


When Jesus stood up, he said to her, ‘Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you? ’


Then he stooped down again and continued writing on the ground.


Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt,  so that you may know how you should answer each person.


He had seven stars in his right hand; a sharp double-edged sword came from his mouth,  and his face was shining like the sun at full strength.


A sharp  sword  came from his mouth, so that he might strike the nations with it.  He will rule  them with an iron rod.  He will also trample the winepress of the fierce anger of God,  the Almighty.


So repent! Otherwise, I will come to you quickly   and fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
