These are the names of the twelve apostles:  First, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;


Simon the Zealot,  and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.


Then  Judas Iscariot,  one of the Twelve,  went to the chief priests  to betray Jesus  to them.


Then one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot  (who was about to betray him), said,


Now when it was time for supper, the devil  had already put it into the heart of Judas,  Simon Iscariot’s son,  to betray  him.


Jesus replied, ‘He’s the one I give the piece of bread to after I have dipped it.’   When he had dipped the bread,  he gave it to Judas, Simon Iscariot’s son.


and Jesus and his disciples were invited to the wedding as well.


But Thomas  (called ‘Twin’  ), one of the Twelve, was not with them when Jesus came.


But there are some among you who don’t believe.’ (For Jesus knew from the beginning  those who did not  believe and the one who would betray  him.)


Jesus replied to them, ‘Didn’t I choose you, the Twelve?   Yet one of you is a devil.’


Though he was delivered up according to God’s determined plan and foreknowledge, you used  lawless people to nail him to a cross and kill him.


For some people, who were designated for this judgement long ago,  , have come in by stealth;  they are ungodly,  turning the grace of our God into sensuality and denying  Jesus Christ, our only Master and Lord.
