No one has ascended   into heaven   except the one who descended from heaven   #– #the Son of Man.   ,


The one who believes in the Son has eternal life, but the one who rejects the Son  will not see life; instead, the wrath of God remains on him.


‘Truly I tell you, anyone who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life   and will not come under judgement but has passed from death to life.


For the bread of God is the one who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.’


They were saying, ‘Isn’t this Jesus the son of Joseph,  whose father and mother we know? How can he now say, “I have come down from heaven”? ’


‘Truly I tell you, anyone who believes   has eternal life.


I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread he will live   for ever.   The bread that I will give for the life   of the world is my flesh.’


This is the bread that came down from heaven; it is not like the manna   your ancestors ate #– #and they died. The one who eats this bread will live for ever.’


Truly I tell you, if anyone keeps my word,   he will never see death.’


Now if Christ is in you,  the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit  gives life  because of righteousness.
