He  summoned  the Twelve  and began to send  them out in pairs and gave them authority over unclean  spirits.


so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom.   And you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.


The Word  became flesh  and dwelt  among us. We observed his glory,  the glory as the one and only  Son  from the Father, full of grace and truth.


Indeed, we have all received grace  upon  grace from his fullness,


On that day you will know that I am in my Father,   you are in me, and I am in you.


‘Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am,   so that they will see my glory, which you have given me because you loved me before the world’s foundation.


Then they went out from the presence of the Sanhedrin, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to be treated shamefully on behalf of the Name.  ,


And those he predestined, he also called; and those he called, he also justified;  and those he justified, he also glorified.


We all, with unveiled faces, are looking as in a mirror at  , the glory of the Lord  and are being transformed  into the same image  from glory to glory; this is from the Lord who is the Spirit.


Therefore, we are ambassadors  for Christ, since God is making his appeal through us. We plead on Christ’s behalf,  ‘Be reconciled to God.’


Working together with him, we also appeal to you, ‘Don’t receive the grace of God in vain.’

what we have seen and heard we also declare to you, so that you may also have fellowship  with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father  and with his Son, Jesus Christ.


The one who keeps his commands remains in him,  and he in him. And the way we know that he remains in us  is from the Spirit  he has given us.


In this, love is made complete with us so that we may have confidence in the day of judgement,  because as he is, so also are we in this world.
