The dominion will be vast, and its prosperity will never end. He will reign on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish and sustain it with justice and righteousness from now on and for ever. The zeal of the Lord of Armies will accomplish this.


Know and understand this: From the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until an Anointed One,  the ruler, will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. It will be rebuilt with a square and a moat, but in difficult times.


Afterwards, the people of Israel will return  and seek the Lord their God and David their king.  They will come with awe to the Lord   and to his goodness in the last days.


Bethlehem Ephrathah, you are small among the clans of Judah; one will come from you to be ruler over Israel for me. His origin  is from antiquity, from ancient times.


The Lord has removed your punishment; he has turned back your enemy. The King of Israel, the Lord, is among you; you need no longer fear harm.


Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion! Shout in triumph, Daughter Jerusalem! Look, your King is coming to you; he is righteous and victorious, humble and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.


Then those in the boat worshipped him and said, ‘Truly you are the Son of God.’

‘But you are not to be called “Rabbi,” because you have one Teacher,   and you are all brothers and sisters.


Now Jesus stood before the governor.  ‘Are you the king of the Jews? ’ the governor asked him. Jesus answered, ‘You say so.’


‘He saved others, but he cannot save himself! He is the King of Israel!  Let him  come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him.


Then the tempter approached him and said, ‘If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.’


Let the Messiah,  the King  of Israel,  come down now from the cross,  so that we may see and believe.’  Even those who were crucified with him taunted him.


The angel replied to her, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you,  and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore, the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.


Blessed is the King   who comes in the name of the Lord.   , Peace in heaven and glory  in the highest heaven!


No one has ever seen God. The one and only  Son, who is himself God and is at the Father’s  side   #– #he has revealed him.


I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God.’  ,


When Jesus turned and noticed them following him, he asked them, ‘What are you looking for? ’ They said to him, ‘Rabbi’  (which means ‘Teacher’), ‘where are you staying? ’


Jesus responded to him, ‘Do you believe because I told you I saw you under the fig tree? You will see greater things than this.’


‘You are a king then? ’ Pilate asked. ‘You say that I’m a king,’ Jesus replied. ‘I was born for this, and I have come into the world   for this: to testify   to the truth.   Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.’


In the meantime the disciples kept urging him, ‘Rabbi,  eat something.’
