No doubt you would cast lots for a fatherless child and negotiate a price to sell your friend.


Javan, Tubal, and Meshech  were your merchants. They exchanged slaves  and bronze utensils for your goods.


Wake up, you drunkards,  and weep; wail, all you wine drinkers, because of the sweet wine, for it has been taken from your mouth.


The Lord says: I will not relent from punishing Israel for three crimes, even four, because they sell a righteous person for silver and a needy person for a pair of sandals.
